2009-2010 TASCOE Director Elections

The time has here to prepare for the 2009 Nomination for TASCOE Directors. Your assistance is needed AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Willing candidates need to submit their names, no later than July 1st. At least four (4) names are needed from each district. Our Bylaws state that names are to be submitted by July 1st to the Secretary/Treasurer.

The TASCOE Districts are:

District 1: Carter, Cocke, Greene, Hawkins/Hancock, Jefferson, Johnson, Sullivan,
Washington/Unicoi
District 2: Bradley/Polk, Claiborne/Union, Hamblen/Grainger, Knox, McMinn/Meigs,
Monroe/Blount, Roane/Loudon, Sevier
District 3: Anderson/Campbell, Bledsoe, Cumberland, Fentress/Pickett, Hamilton,
Marion/Sequatchie, Morgan/Scott, Overton, Rhea, White/Van Buren
District 4: Cannon, Coffee/Grundy, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson/Clay, Macon, Putnam
Smith, Trousdale, Warren
District 5: Bedford/Moore, Giles, Hickman/Lewis/Perry, Lawrence/Wayne, Lincoln,
Marshall, Maury, Rutherford, Williamson, Wilson
District 6: Cheatham, Dickson, Humprheys, Montgomery, Robertson/Davidson,
Stewart/Houston, Sumner
District 7: Fayette, Hardeman, Hardin, Henderson/Decatur, Madison, McNairy/Chester
District 8: Benton, Carroll, Gibson, Henry, Lake, Obion, Weakley
District 9: Crockett, Dyer, Haywood, Lauderdale, Shelby, Tipton

Election Policy
If four names are not submitted, the current directors are required to develop/complete a list of eligible candidates who are willing to serve. Two (2) directors shall be elected in each district, with at least one (1) being a regular employee other than a CED. Two (2) alternate directors shall be elected in each district at the same time to serve in the absence of regular director(s).
